Shipping Policy

  • All Trak Racer orders are shipped by the fastest and safest method. Please allow between 5-10 business days for delivery. Shipping charges will vary depending on the size of your order and your shipping destination. Please advise your phone number at checkout so we can get in touch with you if there is any problem.
  • Please make sure someone will be available to receive your order, otherwise, your package may be diverted to your local post office or to your local shipping depot. We recommend all deliveries are sent to a business address to avoid any re-delivery charges.
  • Trak Racer will ship to confirmed addresses only.
  • If an item runs out of stock before your order is processed, a refund will be offered via the same means as your original payment. 
  • Order Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) - where an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to provide an approximate ETA. ETA's should be used as a guide only, as it is an estimate and this timeline can be impacted by unforeseen factors due to the nature of international supply chains. We will advise if there are significant changes to any previous stated ETA and work with you accordingly.
  • The buyer is responsible for any destination import tax/charges (if applicable).

Our Returns Policy 

We want you to be completely happy with your Trak Racer product. If something is not quite right, then get in contact with us and we will sort it out for you. If you are not completely happy with your purchase you can return it to us provided the following conditions are met: 

  • You must return your order within 14 days of the dispatch date. 
  • The item/s must be unused and not previously installed. 
  • All accessories must be returned. 
  • If the item/s have been used a restocking fee may apply following a detailed inspection.
  • Internal/external damage has not been caused due to improper installation, misuse or incorrect service.

Making a Return

To return merchandise simply complete the Return Authorisation form available by first emailing support@trakracer.com along with a detailed explanation of the problem and photos/videos if you think this will help us understand the problem. The completed form will need to be enclosed with your securely packed order and posted back to the address on the Return Authorisation form provided. Please ensure adequate postage is affixed, as Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted. 

We also recommend you send your return back via a trackable method of postage, as Trak Racer will not be responsible for lost or missing parcels, and all goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. IMPORTANT: Returns without a Return Authorisation form included will be returned to at the customer’s expense.

Return Credits

We will credit your original method of payment, excluding postage charges unless otherwise agreed to. The refund will be processed once your goods are received into our warehouse and checked. Goods must be 100% complete and in the same condition you received them in. Please note that it may take up to 4 working days for the refunds to show in your account. 

Faulty Items

Trak Racer does its best to ensure that all customers receive top quality and faultless products. In the situation where you believe that a product is faulty, or different from the description provided on the website, please contact support@trakracer.com, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then please contact the Trak Racer Support via support@trakracer.com. If you feel that photos or videos of the problem will help Trak Racer in the first instance please ensure these are included in your first communication to support@trakracer.com. We want to make sure that you happy with your Trak Racer purchase so in the event of an issue, we'll work with you to resolve.

    Trak Racer TR8 Pro Racing Cockpit

    The TR8 Pro is an upgraded version of the popular Trak Racer TR8. From 2018 to 2021, the TR8 was the King of Sims. It ticks all of the boxes for a Sim Rig that assembles in 30-60 minutes. It's Strong, Adjustable, and has an Integrated Monitor Stand. In the usual Trak Racer way, we gathered customer feedback from over 10,000 TR8 owners to develop the TR8 PRO.

    Trak Racer, a pioneer in building racing cockpits since 2008, became the Official and Trusted Simulator Supplier to Alpine F1. Trak Racer simulators are used by Alpine F1 Team and Alpine Academy drivers like Esteban Ocon, Victor Martins (Formula 3) and Caio Collet (Formula 3).

    Bring Your Own Seat

    The TR8 PRO includes Seat Brackets to suit most fiberglass bucket seats. We also offer optional seat brackets for office chairs, vehicle-style recline seats.

    Strengthened Pedal Plate

    The TR8 PRO has been improved to withstand up to 180kgs of braking for force without flex. We have also added pre-drilled mounting points for more new pedal sets on the market and the slide function on the TR8 remains - so you can get those pedals exactly where you need them!

    More Adjustable and Strengthened Wheel Mount

    We have added a wheel mount slider to the TR8 PRO to give you 130mm forward and back adjustment with the use of proprietary ball-bearing-assisted sliders. We have also strengthened the 2" tube to withstand up to 30nm direct drive steering wheel torque without flex.

    More Adjustable and Strengthened Left or Right Side Shifter Mount

    The shifter mount has been strengthened by increasing the thickness of the mount and also the plate on the simulator that it mounts to. We have even added mounting points to enable the shifter mount to move forwards and back.

    Optional Overhaul of Integrated Monitor Stand

    The integrated monitor stand will become optional and now has height adjustment for the monitor, and also forward and back adjustment. The complete design has been improved to provide a ore rock-solid mount.

                Unbelievable rig

                So after a couple of years away from Sim Racing, in between my motorcycle racing seasons i sold all my old kit and really regreted it after the quality of some other brands i tried recently, Trak Racer were reffered to me through the guys at UpShift in Newcastle, amazing squad of guys know exactly what they're talk about and gave me great advice, so cant thank them enough and Trak Racer serious for the money its the best piece of equipment i have ever purchased unbelievable quality and support fianlly built the rig ive always wanted, for now!!! Give it a few months and it'll be upgrade time haha, seriously im definitely a lifelong customer, Fantastic!!

                First rig

                Couldn’t decide between this rig and a 80/20. Very happy with my choice. Arrived before they said and came in reasonable sized packages. Easy to assemble. Very solid. Looks great and leaves a small footprint.

                Chair looked a bit cheap but is bigger than expected and very comfortable. Instructions could have been a little more clear in places. My 49 ultra wide shakes a bit when in use but remains sturdy with the integrated single monitor stand but I don’t notice when I’m using it. The gear and handbrake position is ok. If planning to use a buttkicker the current solution is not ideal so you may want to accept how it is or think outside the box.

                Overall very happy especially at this price point. Would love to see a metal floor pan accessory and some affordable motion in the future…fingers crossed

                TR8 Pro

                After weeks of looking over multiple rigs, I came across TR. Saw the TR8 was being updated to the pro model which intrigued me. The rigidity was strengthened in places that SRG mentioned and new monitor mount helped me make my decision. Order on the 26th of March and received it on the 31st here on the east coast. Packaging was clean inside altho ups probably banged the boxes around. Build was straight forward. FYI if some bolts dont want to line up, wiggle the frame around to get a good alignment. Installing my DD pro and CSL pedals was easy along with cable management. My only 2 issues are with the monitor mount. The first is the mount that goes on the chassis is ever so slightly bent (prob from ups dropping the box), this however didn't create any problems bolting it down. Awaiting a reply from support about this. 2nd is installing the VESA extended arms for my tv. The directions don't explain how to mount these to the monitor mount. Had to look up the TR80 triple monitor mount to get an idea. I could not get the 300mmx300mm to line up using what I think is correct but managed to get my tv on after some critical thinking. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, maybe not. Figured it out and I can look past that. 100% happy with this chassis and would recommend this to anyone looking for a non profile rig.

                I have never purchased a sim rig to this value ever. So it was a big step to decide to purchase. After many hours searching, looking and deciding on the best system for me and the front living room, I decided on the TR80 PRO. The purchase was seamless. The delivery was so prompt. Following the online instructions it was easy to build. The unit as expected is solid and delivers on my high expectations. Extremely happy racer...

                Tr8 pro

                My very first rig and its amazing! I purchased the tr8, but soon got an email that they were done with those and I would get a free upgrade to the tr8 pro if I waited longer. It was worth the wait! Amazing build quality, no flex whatsoever and the newly designed pedal platform is awesome as well. Just loaded my gt dd pro on it with 8nm power and no flexing at all. Highly recommend. I also got the gt seat which isn't very comfortable, but I added some lumbar support and it's perfect! Highly recommend
